Moving To A New Photoblog!!!

I have decided to stop posting my photos on this blog. Oh no, have no fear, you will still be able to enjoy my photography, but at another site. I have found a photoblog site to post my pictures. It is specifically designed for photoblogging and provides a much better interface for my photos. Although the blog has a different name you can still expect the same beautiful photos and even more beautiful photos and a wider variety of photos. Why the name change? Well the name Exotic Island Photos somewhat limits me to just the Caribbean, but the new name, I feel, is more expressive of what my pictures are about. The name of the new photoblog is My World My Lens and the URL is http://myworldmylens.aminus3.com.

I have started to post photos on the new blog, so you can check them out. I will still keep this up so you can still look at the photos that I have posted on this blog as I have started the new blog with new photos. I hope to post everyday, when possible. I will definitely be regular when I finish school.

I'm looking forward to your visits and comment on My World My Lens! See you there and thanks for your support to tis amateur photographer.

Orange Hibiscus

This bright solid Orange Hibiscus just stood out and grabbed my attention, I couldn't resist immortalizing it with my lens.

Coniferous

Here is a little experiment I did while at I was at Bonnie View in Portland, with Pine (which is a coniferous hence the title) tree. I zoomed in on the limb and used the focus to bring it in the forefront. it gives a nice effect with the scene of the town below, in the background.

Evergreen

I saw this Evergreen tree while in Red Hills, St. Andrew and thought that it would make a nice photo with the mountains in the background. To me it reflects a peaceful, relaxing mood. I actually took it with the others that i took while I was looking for a place, but I didn't want to post it with the others as it was my favorite.

Radiant Beauty

I noticed this beautiful flow in the yard where I currently live and being the amateur photographer I am, I just could not resist running for my camera. This radiant yellow flower, adorned with spots of orange gives this flower a unique look. Once again I cannot provide you with the name of this flower as I have no clue what it is. If you know, help me out.

No it's not some deep remote jungle. I took this photograph at Frenchman's Cove on the trail down to the beach.

Radiant Yellow

I was in Stony Hill, St. Andrew, and saw this beautiful bunch of flowers and of course I couldn't resist capturing its radiant beauty with my lens. I just love the bright yellow colour and the energy it radiates. As usual I have no idea what the name of this flower is, so if you know let me know!
